Half way through the first track, I actually hit EJECT on my CD player. Was this really the correct disc? Was it really Terry Mack’s
first “this is my music” CD??
Sean B. and the RadioIndy.com Reviewer Team — Five Star rating given on CD Baby for Wild Threads
Paul Bezooyen is a guitarist who *GETS* the Native Flute. He sets up the these gorgeous ostinato repeating patterns and great riffs,
but the feel never gets far from that evening around-the-campfire atmosphere.

The Story of Wild Threads

Picture

Wild Threads was Wind Weaver's first CD released in 2009. The CD was nominated in 2010 for best instrumental CD in the Vancouver Island Music Awards

Amidst much excitement and delight at the emerging music, synergistically happening between Terry and Paul, the music was almost playing itself into existence.

Terry would bring one of her flute songs and play it for Paul. Almost instantly, he would create a beautiful backdrop of guitar sounds for the flute to soar over.  Paul would bring forward some music he was developing and ask Terry if she could play something to do that and she did with great joy. And Paul would often shake his head in amazement the marvelous sounds being added to his guitar work.

We were on a musical adventure, creating, collaborating, combining and evolving our playing and just finding our way into the heart and soul of the music we both love to create.

Each song was new and fresh and inspiring to work with.
